Statement from the Office of the President
08/03/25 -- PONY CITY -- This day, March 8th of the year of two thousand and
twenty five has been designated by our partners in the United Nations as
‘International Women’s Day’ for all of humanity. It is the decision of your
Presidents, I and Kawasaki, to highlight this as an important day for all
sentient beings. History has shown us that unity is the unpaired path for
peace and strength. All beings, when separated, will forever be in a state
of weakness, and unfortunately, those opportunistic in this world’s past have
chosen to exploit this. Hate has, time and again, proven to be the single
most effective tool for the control of a people. Whether that is in
Germany, South Africa, Afghanistan, the United States or more recently,
the dog territories, one thing has become clear - we must not lose sight
of that which binds us. Which is why I, and Kawasaki, have decided to sign
into law bill HB$4521, which designates the first Saturday of each month of
March a Calendar Holiday for the sake of honouring, remembering, and standing
in solidarity with humanity, with a divided population, so that we may never
forget the danger contempt holds, lest we allow the same to come to pass
in our own backyard.
